The Hands That Shape the Future Are Often Not Who We Expect!

The Hands That Shape the Future Are Often Not Who We Expect!

🎙️EP 321 The Hands That Shape the Future Are Often Not Who We Expect! (Solo episode w/ Ildiko Ferenczi) ENTREPRENEUR PARENTS PODCAST Hosted by Dan Caldwell and Ildiko Ferenczi "The future is often shaped… by hands the world never applauds." What if the most important work in the world isn't happening under bright lights, but around kitchen tables? What if history is quietly written during bedtime prayers, ordinary conversations, school mornings, shared meals, and thousands of unseen acts of love? In this heartfelt episode of Becoming Unshakable: The Legacy Conversations Bonus Series, Ildiko Ferenczi honors the mothers, grandmothers, fathers, caregivers, teachers, and mentors whose faithful love shapes lives long before the world ever notices. So often, history remembers the people standing on the stage. The leaders. The entrepreneurs. The athletes. The artists. The innovators. But behind so many remarkable lives is someone who believed in a child before anyone else did. Someone who encouraged them when success was still invisible. Someone who prayed for them, sacrificed for them, spoke life into them, and quietly planted seeds that would one day change the world. This episode is a gentle reminder that your daily faithfulness matters more than you may ever realize. Whether you're raising children, mentoring the next generation, or simply trying to build a home filled with love, your influence reaches farther than you can see. Because the future is often shaped by hands the world never applauds. Whether you're a parent, grandparent, foster parent, caregiver, teacher, coach, mentor, or simply someone who wants to leave the world better than you found it, this conversation is a reminder that love faithfully lived is never wasted. Scripture Featured ✝️ Proverbs 31:28 "Her children arise and call her blessed." 📓Journal Prompts • Who helped shape the person I am becoming today? • What seeds am I planting in my home and in the lives of those around me? • What values do I hope my children—or the next generation—will remember years from now? • How can I intentionally encourage someone this week? • Where is God inviting me to trust that the seeds I'm planting today will bear fruit in His perfect timing? ❤️Final Encouragement If your work feels unseen today, please remember this: Some of the most meaningful work in the world has always happened quietly. Long before anyone applauds. Long before anyone notices. Long before history remembers. The world may celebrate the person standing on the stage, but Heaven also sees the one who helped them get there. Every bedtime story. Every whispered prayer. Every encouraging conversation. None of it is wasted. You may never fully know this side of Heaven how many lives were strengthened because you chose patience over frustration, hope over fear, encouragement over criticism, or faith over giving up. Keep planting. Keep loving. Keep believing. God is doing more through your faithfulness than you can yet see.

[00:00:00] Have you ever noticed that when someone stands on one of the biggest stages of their life, they almost never begin talking about themselves? They thank someone. Very often, they thank their mother. History has a fascinating way of remembering great men and women. We remember the speeches, the discoveries, the inventions, the championships,

[00:00:30] the businesses they built, the books they wrote, the lives they changed. But if you listen closely again and again, you'll hear a different story. A president thanks his mother. An athlete remembers the person who never stopped believing in them. An entrepreneur tells the story of someone who saw potential long before success arrived.

[00:00:59] An artist remembers the voice that refused to let them quit. And it makes me wonder how many lives were changed because one person chose to believe in a child much before the world ever did. And very often, that person was a mother. A mother who simply just kept

[00:01:29] showing up. Went back to lunches, prayed quiet prayers, worked long hours. Many times unnoticed. Stayed up through the night, encouraged weary hearts, wiped away tears. Believed when no one else could yet see what was possible. Planted seeds year after year.

[00:01:59] Never knowing just how far those seeds would one day reach. Perhaps history isn't only shaped by the people standing on stage. Perhaps history is written long before anyone ever reaches the stage. Perhaps it's written around kitchen tables, during bedtime prayers, or on school mornings.

[00:02:29] Inside ordinary conversations. And through thousands of questions. And through thousands of quiet acts of love that the world never applauded. So settle in with me for a moment. Because today is about recognizing the people who helped shape remarkable lives long before the world ever notices.

[00:02:55] Ooh, that's better, right? Ooh, that's better, right babe? She founded an architectural concrete company. He founded a hundred million dollar clothing company. She took the world by storm as a social media star. He took the world by storm as a famous serial entrepreneur.

[00:03:24] Together we started a business. And had babies. Now we're figuring out the best ways to do both. Join us as we learn from other entrepreneurs going through the same life struggles. As they share their life hacks about success, love, kids. And everything in between. Hello my friend and welcome back to Becoming Unshakeable. The Legacy Conversations bonus series. A special edition brought to you by the Entrepreneur Parents Podcast.

[00:03:53] A community of strong families building lives of faith, courage, purpose, and lasting legacy. I'm your host, Ildiko Ferenczi. And today I simply want to say something that I hope every mother, caregiver that is helping raise the next generation needs to hear. What you're doing matters.

[00:04:23] Even on the days when no one applauds. Even on the days when you're exhausted. We've been there. Even on the days when you're wondering if anyone notices. I'll tell you God notices. And this seed you're planting today may become someone else's strength tomorrow. One of the beautiful things about influence is that it often grows quietly.

[00:04:53] A child is not only listening to what we say. They're watching how we live. They notice how we respond when life gets difficult. They notice how we speak into others. How we treat strangers. How we pray, forgive. How we handle disappointment. Long before children understand our advice. They're learning from our example.

[00:05:21] And that's both. And that's both. It's both a beautiful privilege and a sacred responsibility. One of the beautiful things developmental psychologists have observed is that children build their understanding of themselves through thousands of ordinary moments. The small, the small repeated experiences that quietly tell them,

[00:05:48] that I see you, that you are safe here. Those moments become the foundation from which they begin to understand themselves. And understand others. Even the whole world around them. That's why the goal is connection.

[00:06:10] Research consistently reminds us that healthy families, they're not, they aren't built because parents never make mistakes. They're built because love keeps coming back. When a parent is humble enough to say, I'm sorry. A child learns something incredibly important.

[00:06:39] They learn that relationships can heal. They learn that love doesn't disappear after conflict. They learn that, that grace lives inside a home. And perhaps that's one of the greatest gifts we can give our children. It's not pretending to be perfect.

[00:07:07] It's the example of humility, forgiveness, and, and the love that keeps showing up.

[00:07:20] As a little girl, I thought, I thought my mom was simply making dinner, different meals during the day, keeping our home beautiful and, and working hard, praying, making birthdays feel special. Or, or, or she was, she was trying to make Christmas feel magical.

[00:07:45] I, I didn't, I didn't understand what she was carrying while she was doing all that. I didn't understand what it meant, what it meant to leave her country and everything familiar, her home, to build a new life filled with opportunity for us. I didn't understand the courage.

[00:08:09] I didn't understand the courage it took to keep moving forward after so many unimaginable heartbreaks. I didn't understand the quiet prayers whispered after everyone else had gone to sleep. I didn't understand it then. I saw it, but it didn't fully click.

[00:08:30] Now as a mother, I see those, I see those memories looking back through completely different eyes. It's completely different. She, she wasn't simply making dinner. She, she was carrying a family. She was carrying a family. She wasn't just cleaning the home and making it look perfect and beautiful.

[00:09:00] She was creating a place where we felt safe. She wasn't simply raising children. She was shaping the future. And as a little girl, I only saw what she did. And as a woman now, I finally understand what it cost her.

[00:09:27] And I think that's true of far more mothers than we ever realize. Some of the greatest acts of love happens so quietly. So quietly that children don't fully understand them until they become parents themselves.

[00:09:49] There are so many stories throughout history of people who changed the world because someone believed in them before the world ever did. And sometimes that person was a teacher or perhaps a coach, but very often it was a mother. Someone who saw possibility before there was proof.

[00:10:14] Someone who refused to let another person's opinion become their child's identity. What an incredible gift to become a voice that reminds a child who God created them to be. And as a mother, we're privileged. We are privileged to walk that path, to pour into, to nourish our children that way.

[00:10:46] In Proverbs, we read her children arise and call her blessed. I love that picture. Not because let's be honest. Motherhood is not easy. We know that. We know that.

[00:11:06] But the faithfulness that we have when we become mothers, that's what leaves a legacy. God sees every unseen act of love, all the bedtime prayers, every encouraging word, the pep talks, every sacrifice. Nothing done in love is ever wasted.

[00:11:35] And perhaps today isn't, it's not, can we just say it's not about adding extra pressure? We have enough of that. Maybe, maybe look at it this way. Maybe it's about lifting some of it off. We're not working on creating a perfect childhood. I know that, that we don't have, we don't have every answer.

[00:12:06] And we don't have to compare ourselves to anyone else. But what we do have to do, what we do have to keep doing, I should say, is we need to keep planting. Right? We need to keep planting in our children. We need to keep loving, praying, showing up. Because seeds don't become trees overnight. They don't become these beautiful trees.

[00:12:35] These gorgeous flowers, faithfully planted seeds have a beautiful way of becoming, of becoming forests. And why is that?

[00:12:56] Because we've promised to keep pouring into and nourishing in the ways only, only we know how to do. Before you reach for that coffee, consider this. What if the energy boost you're looking for isn't in your cup, but in your cells? I challenge you to swap your morning coffee for Shilajit by Symbiotica.

[00:13:25] And here's what can happen. No crash, no jitters, just clean, sustained energy, plus mental clarity and trace minerals that our bodies actually need. That are actually starving for, to be honest. This isn't just a supplement.

[00:13:46] It's an ancient adaptogen sourced from the Himalayas that supports mycochondrial function, stamina, and overall vitality. Your coffee never did that. Okay? Let's just be honest. Try it for a week and tell me your body doesn't thank you. Symbiotica's Shilajit is next level wellness. And honestly, you may never go back to drinking coffee.

[00:14:12] Click the link below down in the bio and get your Shilajit today. Let's take a moment to grab our journals and something to write with. And just let's reflect. The first one is, who helped shape the person I'm becoming today? It really could have been anyone.

[00:14:38] And you can name more than one person. What seeds am I planting in my home? What does that look like? What values do I hope my children remember years from now? What do you want them to take with them?

[00:15:00] How can I intentionally encourage someone this week? Where is God inviting me to trust that the seeds I'm planting will bear fruit in His timing? Let's come together in prayer. Prayer partners.

[00:15:31] Heavenly Father, thank you for the mothers, the caregivers, those who quietly pour themselves into others every single day. Strengthen every weary heart listening today. Remind them, remind them that you see every unseen sacrifice.

[00:15:59] Help us to all become people who speak life, who encourage courage, who model faith, and who point the next generation toward you. May our homes become places where love grows deeply. Truth is always spoken gently.

[00:16:24] And children who discover who you created them to be. So they could fulfill their God-given destiny. In Jesus' name, amen. If you're in a season where your work feels unseen, and I know a lot of us have been in that place. I've been there. Please remember this.

[00:16:54] Some of the most important work in the world has always happened quietly. Long before anyone applauds. Long before anyone even notices. Even long before history remembers. Long before people of fear has always been defeated by them. Memories. Give us an impact on the world's real fear. So don't underestimate today's ordinary acts of faithfulness.

[00:17:22] They may be tomorrow's extraordinary legacy. And the future is often shaped by hands the world never applauds.

[00:17:37] If this conversation encouraged you today, would you share it with a mother, a caregiver, someone faithfully investing in the next generation? And if Becoming Unshakable has been encouraging your heart each week, thank you for leaving a kind review and five stars.

[00:18:07] Together, we're building strong families, stronger futures, and lasting legacies. [00:18:57] The world, it may not celebrate the person standing on stage, but heaven also sees the person who helped get them there. So if no one has thanked you lately, let me be the first one to say it. Thank you. Thank you for every unseen prayer.

[00:19:23] Thank you for every bedtime story, every meal prepared with love, all the tears you wiped away, every sacrifice no one knew you made, even every ordinary day that you chose faithfulness over convenience. Please don't underestimate today's ordinary acts of love,

[00:19:48] because they may become tomorrow's extraordinary legacy. God bless you. Glory to God always. We love you. We're proud of you. We're proud of you for showing up, for loving, loving when it wasn't easy, for praying when no one else heard.

[00:20:13] And we're proud of you for believing in the people God entrusted to your care. Sometimes long before they believed in themselves. Because the world is so often changed by someone who first believed in a child. And perhaps that someone is you. Keep building strong families.

[00:20:44] Keep planting good seeds. And keep believing in the next generation. Because you may never fully know this side of heaven. How many lives were changed. Simply because you chose to believe in one child. Thank you for continuing to build strong families, strong futures, and unshakable legacies.

[00:21:14] God bless you. Glory to God always. This is becoming unshakable by the Entrepreneur Parents Podcast. And we will see you soon.
