ENTREPRENEUR PARENTS PODCAST BECOMING UNSHAKABLE: MOMS SUPPORTING MOMS β EPISODE SIX Hosted by Dan Caldwell and Ildiko Ferenczi
What Happens When Women Bring Their Gifts Together?
What if the part of your vision that keeps exhausting you was never supposed to be your part?
In Episode Six of Becoming Unshakable: Moms Supporting Moms, we're talking about something every entrepreneur, mother, and woman building a meaningful life needs to understand: you do not have to build everything alone.
There is a difference between independence and isolation. You can be capable, ambitious, hardworking, and deeply committed to your calling while still recognizing that another woman may carry a gift that complements yours.
One woman may see the vision while another sees the structure. One may know how to tell the story while another knows how to organize the system. One may generate ideas while another knows how to turn those ideas into something practical.
That is not weakness. That is collaboration.
π€ A DIFFERENT WAY TO THINK ABOUT COLLABORATION
You do not need to find someone exactly like you. In fact, some of the most meaningful collaborations happen when two people bring different strengths to the same vision.
Instead of asking, "Why doesn't she think like me?" try asking, "What can she see that I cannot?"
That question can change the way you approach business, friendship, motherhood, leadership, and community.
π FAITH & LEADERSHIP
Romans 12:6 reminds us: "We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us."
Our differences do not have to divide us. They can become part of what makes collaboration powerful.
Ecclesiastes 4:9 also reminds us: "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor."
You were not created to possess every gift.
You were created with gifts.
And sometimes the work becomes more beautiful when those gifts are brought together.
π THIS WEEK'S LEGACY MOVE
Think of one woman whose gifts genuinely complement yours. Tell her specifically what you admire about what she does, then make one small invitation not a giant business proposal or a commitment to build an entire company together, but simply a conversation.
Ask what might become possible if you both brought your strengths into the same room.
Because sometimes the next step in your calling is not learning how to do more.
Sometimes it is recognizing who you were meant to build beside.
βοΈ JOURNAL MOMENT
Ask yourself: What part of my vision becomes lighter when I imagine building it with the right person? What do I naturally do that could strengthen another woman's work, and what part of building continually drains or delays me?
Who is the woman whose gift have I noticed? Is there someone whose strengths complement mine rather than simply mirror them, and what is one small project we could try together before attempting something larger?
π©βπ§βπ¦ FOR MOTHERS BUILDING SOMETHING MEANINGFUL
Motherhood and entrepreneurship can sometimes make us feel as though we have to carry everything the business, the children, the home, the vision, the emotional labor, and the logistics.
But building a meaningful life does not require you to prove that you can carry every piece. There is wisdom in knowing what belongs to you and recognizing what someone else may be uniquely equipped to carry.
Healthy collaboration can create more than efficiency. It can create encouragement, shared courage, creative energy, and community.
And it gives our children a model of leadership they can actually see.
When our children watch us ask for help, listen to another person's perspective, share recognition, give credit, and celebrate someone else's strengths, they learn that leadership is not about controlling everything.
It is about knowing how to bring people and gifts together.
β€οΈ FINAL ENCOURAGEMENT
You do not have to prove that you can carry everything alone.
The goal was never to become a woman who needs no one. The goal is to become a woman secure enough to recognize the gifts God placed in other people and wise enough to know when those gifts belong beside yours.
Maybe you see the story and she sees the structure. Maybe you carry the vision and she knows how to bring it to life.
Maybe you have been asking God for the next step when the next step is sitting across the table from you in another woman.
Do not compete with what you could celebrate.
Do not diminish what you could learn from. And do not assume that asking for help makes your calling smaller.
Sometimes collaboration is how the calling becomes bigger.
Bring your gift. Let her bring hers. And see what God can build between them.
You do not have to build it alone.
Maybe you were never supposed to.
