[00:00:02] You can do anything! We all have a God given destiny. Never let negative thoughts or people tell you you can't be great. Because you will fearfully and wonderfully made. There's greatness inside all of us. But greatness doesn't happen. It takes boldness, courage and leadership. Welcome to the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show where we think big, big broadly and make amazing things happen.
[00:00:32] I'm Destiny. I'm Daniel. We challenge you to step into your future, take action and create a legacy that lasts. Let's go! Good day Legacy, little friends. It's your kind friend, Destiny. And I'm your amazing friend, Daniel. And I'm so glad to be with you. All of our amazing friends. We missed you. And I know you miss us too.
[00:01:02] So, we're glad that you're here. And today, Daniel and I want to remind you of something super important. You are special! Exactly the way you are. That's right. And did you know that being gentle, being kind, even being quiet can change the whole world? Oh yes! You don't have to be the loudest or the fastest.
[00:01:32] Or the funniest to be a legacy leader. Today's story is all about a man who changed millions of lives. Yes, by caring about kids like you. And maybe your parents watched him when they were little. Or maybe you've watched Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.
[00:01:54] Yes, we have. And guess what? That show was made because of the gentleman believing in helping children learn to be brave. Okay, Destiny. I can't wait. Are you ready for this? Daniel, please tell the story. Handsome, please. Okay, Destiny. Okay. Yay! Because you said handsome, please. I'll tell the story. I can't wait.
[00:02:24] Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Fred. Fred Rogers! He wasn't loud. He wasn't super outgoing. He was kind and quiet and thoughtful. Everyone called him Mr. Rogers. Oh, I know him. He loved music. He loved puppets. And he loved thinking of ways to make people feel better.
[00:02:53] When he grew up, he saw that on television, kids weren't always treated kindly. He said, I'm going to make a show where children feel loved and safe. And guess what? That's exactly what he did. That's right. He created Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. And the children loved it.
[00:03:17] And for over 30 years, every episode, he looked at the camera and said, You made this day a special day just by being you. There's no person in the whole world like you. And I like you the way you are. That's so special, isn't it, guys?
[00:03:39] Every show, Mr. Rogers put on his comfy red sweater and his comfy sneakers and sang songs that helped kids understand their feelings. He taught children how to be brave, lift children when they were sad, and how to be kind when it's hard. And most importantly, how to love themselves exactly how they are.
[00:04:06] Yeah, that's so great to have someone be so kind. And get this. He used simple songs and stories and quiet words to change millions of lives. He was a quiet leader with a huge legacy. Yes, such a huge legacy. Big enough that people who loved him made Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood.
[00:04:35] Daniel Tiger teaches kids just like you all the things Mr. Rogers wanted you to know. For example, you can ask for help. You can talk about your feelings. You are a love just the way you are. So what can we learn from Mr. Rogers, legacy leaders? I know you don't have to be the loudest person to be a leader. Being kind, that's leadership.
[00:05:03] Being gentle, that's leadership too. Raise a hand right now if you ever helped a friend feel better. Destiny, I see your hand up and so is mine. Well, guess what? You were being a leader. That's a great job, friends. And remember, every time you say something kind, you're changing the world.
[00:05:32] Just like our friend, Mr. Rogers. Okay, friends, guess what time it is. It's time for the Legacy Lightning Fun Facts Round. For the Legacy Lightning Fun Facts Round. Da-na-na-na-na.
[00:06:04] Here's the question. What color sweater did Mr. Rogers wear on his show? A. Blue. B. Red. Or C.
[00:06:52] Love this part. This week's challenge is a leader set. Go ahead, Daniel. Take it from here. Step 1. Think of someone you know who needs a little extra kindness right now. Step 2. Draw them a picture. Write a little note. Or even give them a big smile and say hello. Step 3.
[00:07:18] Each time you're kind, don't forget to tell yourself you're being a leader. You're changing the world. Yes. Give yourself credit. Because you're all friends. Remember, friend, you don't have to be big to make a big difference. You are loved. You matter. And just like Mr. Rogers and Daniel Tiger, you're building a legacy, well, every day.
[00:07:47] That cartoon is so cute. Guess who my favorite characters are? Who? Who? It's the baby sister and the big brother, Daniel Tiger. But also the cat. Daniel, who's your favorite character? My favorite characters are Daniel Tiger, the main opera, and also the little king.
[00:08:14] Every smile, every small act, every gentle moment. It all adds up to something big. Yes. Keep dreaming, leading, and being kind. Let's tell them, Daniel. We love you so much. You are amazing. There's no person in the whole world like you.
[00:08:40] And we like you just the way you are. Don't forget to follow the show, leave a kind review, and leave five stars. It helps more legacy leaders like you find our community. And if you have a friend you want to be kind to, don't forget to share the episode. Until next time. See you next time. See you next time. We love you.
