🎙️EP 139 Kindness Is Strength! Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show Hosted by Daniel & Destiny

What if one of the strongest things you could do today wasn't lifting something heavy or winning a competition but simply choosing kindness?

In this encouraging Legacy Short, Daniel and Destiny teach young leaders that kindness is not weakness. In fact, kindness is often one of the strongest choices a person can make. Whether it's including someone who feels left out, helping a sibling without being asked, or encouraging a friend who's having a hard day, small acts of kindness can have a lasting impact.

Through relatable stories, biblical wisdom, and practical examples, kids will discover how kindness helps build stronger friendships, stronger families, and stronger communities. They'll also learn that every act of kindness has the power to brighten someone's day and inspire others to do the same.

[00:00:01] You can do anything! We all have a God given destiny. Never let negative thoughts or people tell you you can't be great. Because you will fearfully and wonderfully made. There's greatness inside all of us. But greatness doesn't happen. It takes boldness, courage, and leadership. Welcome to the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show. Where we think big, big boldly. And make amazing things.

[00:00:31] happen. I'm Destiny. I'm Daniel. We challenge you to step into your future, take action, and create a legacy that lasts. Let's go! Have you ever noticed that being kind is easy when everything is going your way? That's right. But kindness becomes much more powerful when someone is having a hard day. When someone

[00:01:01] someone feels left out. When kindness requires a little courage. Yes! Because kindness is not weakness. Did you hear that, friends? Sometimes kindness is one of the strongest choices a person can make. Welcome back to the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show! Hello kind-hearted future leaders! It's your Joy Spray.

[00:01:33] Thank you for joining us for another Legacy Shorts episode. We are planting seeds that will say it in your character building. Buddy, today's Legacy Short is about something that can change. It means being weak. But real kindness is often a sign of strength. That's right. Because it's easy to be unkind when you're frustrated. That's right. It's easy to be impatient.

[00:02:39] Easy to ignore people. Easy to be unkind. Easy to ignore people. Easy to be rude or mean. Easy to think only about yourself. That's right. Because kindness asks us to think about others too. Yes. And that takes strength, friends. Do you know something important? Strong leaders do not make people feel smaller or bad about themselves. They help people feel a helping hand.

[00:03:13] But destiny. Those things may feel small. But they can change someone's entire day. The Bible says in Ephesians chapter 4, verse 32,

[00:03:34] Be kind and compassionate to one another. God wants us to treat people with kindness because every person matters. Imagine this. A group of children laughing and playing together. Ooh, that sounds fun! Yes, it is.

[00:03:53] Yes, it is. And nearby, another child is standing alone, watching quietly. Most people might walk right past. But one child notices. And that child walks over and says, Would you like to play with us? That sentence only takes a few seconds to say. But it might become a moment a child remembers forever.

[00:04:19] Or imagine a family having a busy day. We have a lot of does around here. We sure do. And everyone is working on different things. Mom is making dinner. Daddy's carrying groceries. A young sibling is trying to do something all by themselves. Perhaps they were trying to put the blocks they were playing with. Or wait all by themselves on the self.

[00:04:47] That's right. And their younger sibling accidentally drops everything. For a moment, someone could laugh. Someone could roll their eyes. Someone could walk away and keep doing their thing. But instead, an older brother or sister kneels down and says, It's okay. I'll help you. And friends, that is kindness.

[00:05:12] Not because it was easy, but because someone chose to help when they didn't have to. They could have said, I didn't do that. I'm not cleaning it up. But they chose to help. And that's the kind thing to do. Those kind of moments change everything. Something like that brings siblings closer together. It makes families feel closer.

[00:05:38] And it makes strangers, well, feel blessed. I want to share a growth fact with you. Did you know acts of kindness can help people feel happier, safer, and more connected? That means your kindness can become part of someone else's courage. And your kindness is contagious. When someone else is kind, how can you not help being kind to others?

[00:06:07] That's right, Destiny. Okay, friends. Guess what time it is. It's time for the Legacy Leader Journal Moments. Legacy Leader Journal Moments.

[00:06:47] This is your journey. And if you can't write yet, you can just draw. Like our friend Lily the Lion. She draws everything. All her ideas, all her feelings, she loves to draw. Today's journal question is, What is one kind thing that I can do for someone else this week? Let's give them some examples.

[00:07:16] Perhaps it's encouraging... Yes, I do, little sister. I have a few suggestions. Sharing is one of them. Sometimes it's hard, but it's kind. One kind, listening carefully, or speaking kindly when it would be easier not to. Take a moment. You can pause this.

[00:07:46] Write down one kind thing you can do for someone this week. Some people think heroes are only strong when they do something enormous. That's right. But sometimes, heroes look like ordinary people, making kind choices. One kind reward. One helping hand. One thoughtful choice.

[00:08:11] One caring moment in our hearts to be kind. Because kindness is not weakness. Kindness is strength in action. That's right, friends. Dappity-duppity-dup-dup. If this legacy sure encouraged you today, share it with another future leader. One who wants to make the world a little brighter through kindness.

[00:08:40] And friends, we are so proud of you for learning, growing, and becoming stronger with us. Kindness matters. And the kindness you choose today may become someone else's hope tomorrow. Ooh, that's good, Daniel. And it's like the pass it on moment. When you're kind to someone, they be kind to someone else.

[00:09:08] Ooh, Destiny, that's so good.

[00:09:11] As enough people tearing others down.

[00:09:46] Be someone who kindness matters more than perhaps your active kindness. Maybe come someone's legacy story they share years later with their own children. Kindness is not weakness. Kindness is strength under control. And your story is just good.
