Philippians 1:6 reminds us:
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
God does not abandon unfinished work. He does not look at our struggles and see failure. He sees growth.
Throughout Scripture, God worked through people who were still becoming.
Moses had doubts. David had failures. Peter made mistakes. Abraham experienced uncertainty. Yet God continued to use them. Your unfinished places do not disqualify you. Your waiting season does not mean God has forgotten you.
Your story is not over.
❓ The Legacy Question Every Parent Should Ask
As we move into the second half of the year, the question is not only:
“How much have I done?”
The deeper question is: “Who am I becoming while I’m doing it?”
Because your children may not remember every accomplishment. They may not remember every busy season. They may not remember every goal you achieved.
But they will remember:
• Whether they felt loved
• Whether they felt safe
• Whether they felt seen
• Whether they watched you choose faith during difficult moments
• Whether they experienced a home filled with grace
Legacy is built quietly. Around kitchen tables. During bedtime prayers. Through everyday conversations. One ordinary moment at a time.

My friend, Before you rush into the second half of this year, remember this:
Maybe you are exactly where you hoped you would be. Maybe you are nowhere close. But either way, God is still working.
Do not allow a calendar to convince you that you are behind. Do not allow comparison to steal gratitude from the season God is writing. Growth is not always obvious while it is happening.
Sometimes the greatest miracles are only visible when we stop long enough to look back. So today, Measure your year differently. Measure it by the love you have given. The courage you have shown. The forgiveness you have offered. The faith you have chosen. The person you are becoming. Because some of the greatest things God builds cannot be measured by numbers, achievements, or recognition.
He builds people. He strengthens families.
He restores relationships. He creates legacies.

To trust. To begin again. The year is not over.
Your story is not over.
God is not finished.
