[00:00:30] And make amazing things happen I'm Destiny I'm Daniel We challenge you to step into your future Take action And create a legacy that lasts Let's go! Good day beautiful legacy leaders Welcome back to the Entrepreneur Kids Legacy Show I'm your sweet friend Destiny And I'm your sweet friend Daniel

[00:00:58] This is the place where you, our friends, learn how to think big, dream boldly, lead with love, and build legacy with your family and your faith Today's episode is for the kid who's ever been told you can't Maybe you shared an idea and someone laughed Maybe you wanted to try something new And someone said, you're not ready

[00:01:26] Or maybe you heard a note that sounded so loud You started wondering if your dream was even worth chasing But guess what? Some of the most powerfulest readers in the world heard no-fers too And today we're going to tell you the story of one of them He wasn't just creative He was unstoppable Let's go! Get ready for the story

[00:01:55] From farm boy to dream builder Before there was Disneyland There was just a little boy named Walt Like my brother I'm not named Walt That's a cute name, isn't it? Walt Disney grew up on a farm He loved animals, drawing, and telling stories When he was just a kid, he started selling sketches to his neighbors

[00:02:24] For just pennies His dream to make cartoons that made people feel something But it wasn't easy when he grew up He got a job at the newspaper And guess what? He got fired Do you want to know why? Yes, I know why Let me tell you They told him that he wasn't creative enough Can you imagine if he believed them?

[00:02:54] Oh yes, can you imagine? It would be so bad That's not all He started a company to make cartoons But it didn't make enough money to keep going That's called bankruptcy Bankruptcy means a business It doesn't have enough money To pay what it owes And it has to close Or completely restock

[00:03:22] That could have been the end of Walt's dream But it wasn't He kept working He kept creating Like we do And he kept drawing He even started playing Even when things felt impossible He came up with a brand new character After losing the rights to his big one Oswald the Lucky Rabbit

[00:03:50] The character he had first created Can you guess the new character he came up with? If you guessed that, you're right After that, he dreamed even bigger A place where families could laugh Explore And dream together That place became Disneyland

[00:04:15] And we know how happy that makes everybody But even opening day was wild The sidewalks were melting from the heat The rides were breaking And animals were sneaking into the park But guess what? He didn't quit He never gave up And because he didn't stop We got joy Imagination

[00:04:44] A place to make memories And a brand that's been loved by our parents Grandparents And even great-grandparents It's proof that a no from the world Isn't the end Legacy leaders, here's the big truth When someone says no to your dream It doesn't mean stop And that doesn't mean Trust in God even more Sometimes a no is just a detour

[00:05:13] To something even better If Walt had quit when people doubted him There would be no Disneyland No Mickey No excitement So don't let someone's doubt Cancel your destiny Because that's my name And you cannot let me down If God gave you the dream He will make a way Okay friends It's time for our Legacy Lightning Fun Facts Wrap

[00:05:41] Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun da dun dub Ask your question Get ready When Walt Disney Was fired from the newspaper What did they say he wasn't? A. He wasn't funny enough B. He wasn't smart enough

[00:06:09] Or C. He wasn't creative enough You can find the answer in the show notes. Check it out, but hurry back. Or you can just take your time. And while you're there, leave your favorite part of today's episode. I can't wait. But don't forget to do it because we got to pick our legacy leader.

[00:06:39] Everyone forgets to leave the Instagram handle. So we can never pick the winner. Now it's time to build your legacy. Tactical Legacy Builder Challenge. Here's your challenge. Daniel, tell them. Step one, write down something someone told you you couldn't do. Or even something you yourself thought was too hard. Now step two, circle it.

[00:07:08] And next to it, write, but God says I can. And step three, ask someone you trust, like a parent, a grandparent, a sibling, or coach, to pray with you over it. Big dreams don't start big. They start with faith and they grow with action. Yeah, faith and action.

[00:07:36] Okay, I'm going to give you some final thoughts. Walt Disney was told he wasn't good enough. He lost his first big idea. And that was really hard for him. He faced closed doors. But guess what, friends? He keeps building. He didn't let rejection write his story. He let faith shape his future. And now it's your turn.
